Palazzo weighs in on budgeting

“I think it’s going to be one of those last minute things. It’s either going to get extended or they’re going to come up with a solution,” said Rep. Palazzo. “The House Republicans have been working extremely hard to reach an agreement to make sure that if it’s just a temporary patch until we can get our entire financial house under order, we need it. The doctors need it. They cannot afford anymore cuts to their payments. And most importantly our patients, those who depend on Medicare need it, because those services will disappear if we don’t do something.”
On Sunday, the Republican co-chair of a the Super Committee gave no indication that a deal could be struck before the panel’s Thanksgiving deadline.
