Tate Reeves urges voters to support Senator Buck Clarke

Mississippi Treasurer Tate Reeves recently spent the day appearing with Senator Buck Clarke at campaign stops throughout Clarke’s Delta-based district. Reeves, the Republican nominee for Lieutenant Governor, called on Delta voters to send Clarke to Jackson for another term.

“Buck Clarke is one of the most well-respected members of the Senate,” stated Reeves. “Buck voted to balance our budget without raising taxes, and he’s supported job training programs critical to the Delta. I’m supporting Buck Clarke, and I hope Delta voters will give him a third term in the Senate,” Reeves said.

Reeves joined Clarke at five events in the Delta including a tour of the agriculture research facility at Stoneville, a meeting with administrators at Delta State University, and a reception in Leland.
“I appreciate Tate spending the day campaigning with me, and I’m very grateful for his support,” stated Clarke. “Tate shares my belief that a balanced budget, low taxes and fewer regulations on small businesses will help create more private sector jobs,” Clarke remarked.

Buck and Paula Clarke have been married 32 years and are the parents of three. The Clarke’s attend Hollandale First United Methodist Church where Buck is a Sunday school teacher. He is a Certified Public Accountant, member of the Rotary Club, and graduate of Mississippi State.

Last year, Clarke received the Farm Bureau’s “Friend of Agriculture” award. He is endorsed for re-election by Mississippi Right to Life and the National Rifle Association.
