It’s a single family home. With five bedrooms and a size for a family with long legs at 9,384 square feet, it also has five full bathrooms, and two half bathrooms.
The deck offers ridge views overlooking the ski trail, and there is a hot tub on the patio.
When Langston was around, he could step right out of his ski room onto Galloping Goose Trail.
But those days are likely over.
Langston has implicated legal kingpin Dickie Scruggs, former Mississippi state auditor Steve Patterson and attorneys Timothy Balducci and Ed Peters in relation to a 1994 asbestos litigation dispute over $16 million. The lawsuit was settled in Scruggs’ favor by Hinds County Circuit Court Judge Bobby DeLaughter. According to Langston, Judge DeLaughter’s name was circulated for a federal judgeship in return.
Several members of the group also are accused of conspiring to bribe Circuit Court Judge Henry Lackey with $40,000 in exchange for a favorable ruling involving $26 million in Hurricane Katrina legal fees.
