The Jackson Redevelopment Authority is scheduled to meet today to discuss details of a proposed $209 million project for downtown that could bring more than 700 jobs when complete.
“We think that there’s an opportunity to reach an agreement which could result in a significant economic development project in downtown Jackson in support of ongoing development efforts related to the establishment of a convention center,” Alexander said.
