Former state treasurer candidate Gary Anderson will kick off his campaign for state insurance commissioner at 3 p.m. today on the south steps of the state Capitol.
?As Mississippi’s next insurance commissioner, I will fight to bring balance and pride back to our insurance commissioner’s office,? Anderson said in a statement. ?I know that we aren’t being as fair as we should to our state’s families. They need someone who will be on their side all of the time; that’s why I am running for insurance commissioner.”
