Rainwater Creeps Toward Front Doors
Residents in two different north Jackson neighborhoods say they have been plagued with the same problem for over 30 years, flooding after heavy rains.
Monday night Jackson fire trucks and barricades stopped cars from entering parts of Glenside Drive and pushing water into homes.
Twelve yards were submerged, threatening to spread into the homes.
Water entered the living room of one home.
Residents say they have begged the city for decades to put in larger drainage, but little has been done.
