Incumbent Congressman Steven Palazzo has been endorsed by the Supporting, Electing American Leaders Political Action Committee (SEAL PAC).
SEAL PAC’s goal is to elect veterans to Congress.
The Chairman of SEAL PAC, Robert J. O’Neill, vouched for Palazzo’s service:

He deployed as a Marine in Desert Shield and Desert Storm serving with 3rd Force Recon. His service on the Appropriations Committee as a champion for smart military spending and veterans care merits his re-election. SEAL PAC strongly endorses Steven Palazzo for Congress.”
O’Neill is one of the most highly-decorated combat veterans of modern day and the author of the memoir The Operator: Firing the Shots That Killed Osama bin Laden and My Years as a SEAL Team Warrior.
Palazzo said he was honored to receive the endorsement.
“When it comes to the application and use of force to protect America and our interests, it is vital that leaders who understand the sacrifice required to serve in uniform are part of the discussion,” said Palazzo. “I appreciate the support of SEAL PAC and am humbled by all of those serving and sacrificing in our country’s military.”
