JACKSON, Miss. — The Mississippi Independent Pharmacies Association on Wednesday announced that the group has endorsed Cindy Hyde-Smith for U.S. Senator.
“As healthcare providers and small business owners, we are faced with challenging situations every day,” said Robert Dozier, executive director of MIPA.
“Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith understands those challenges that we face and it is the Mississippi Independent Pharmacies Association’s honor to endorse her for the United States Senate. We feel she is the best candidate that will help the independent pharmacists stay on main street so we can help the patients and citizens of Mississippi.”
Hyde-Smith said she was honored to have the group’s endorsement.
“Small-business owners such as independent pharmacists are the core of Mississippi’s economy, and I will do everything I can to help them thrive.”
