By: Sarah Ulmer - July 19, 2018

The Mississippi Automobile Dealers Association has endorsed Cindy Hyde-Smith for U.S. Senate.

“Our association is supporting Sen. Hyde-Smith because she understands the critical role franchise automobile dealers play in creating jobs, providing transportation and tax revenues,” said Marty Milstead, MADA president.

“Sen. Hyde-Smith is working for all Mississippians and is committed to reducing regulatory barriers placed on business owners,” he said. “In a short amount of time, Sen. Hyde-Smith has shown her ability to work with leaders in the U.S. Senate focusing on job creation important to our state.”

Sen. Hyde-Smith said she appreciates MADA’s support.

“I know just how important automobile dealers are to Mississippi because of the role they play in our economy,” she said. “We are proud to receive this group’s endorsement.”

The Mississippi Automobile Dealers Association was formed in 1941 and works to advance and promote the franchised automobile dealers industry in Mississippi.
