Tupelo mayor will host re-election event tonight
Mayor Jason Shelton plans to seek re-election during next year’s municipal elections and will host a fundraiser tonight.
“I’m proud of the accomplishments of this administration. I’m proud of the positive differences that have been achieved in Tupelo in this term,” Shelton said. “Hopefully the accomplishments will put the campaign in a good position to be successful.”
Tonight’s event will take place from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Bus Stop, a former Greyhound facility on North Commerce Street converted into a private event space.
