Secretary Hosemann to Co-Chair Republican National Convention Platform Subcommittee
Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann was selected as co-chair on the 2016 Republican National Convention Platform Subcommittee to draft the position on the platform “Jobs, Economy and National Debt”. Secretary Hosemann serves alongside fellow co-chairs, Andy Pudzer, CEO of CKE Restaurants, Inc., and Joe Gruters, C.P.A., Florida Chairman for the Trump Campaign.
“It is an honor to serve as co-chair of the Jobs, Economy and National Debt subcommittee,” says Secretary Hosemann. “Some of the most important issues facing our nation are improving the economy, jobs and reducing the national deficit. Mississippi should have a seat at the table when these issues are discussed.”
The subcommittee will present this platform at the Republican National Convention.
Senator John Barraso (R-WY) will serve as chairman of the Platform Committee. Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin and Congresswoman Virginia Fox (R-NC) will serve as co-chairs.
