Terry to hold special election for mayor

Three candidates are vying in Tuesday’s election to serve out the term of former Terry Mayor Rod Nicholson, who was sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to embezzlement charges in November.

The three candidates are:

David Bolden, a craftsman
Joseph O. Kendrick, a former Terry alderman who lost a hotly contested race against Nicholson in 2013
Elizabeth M. Smith, an employee of American MedicaL Response
