Reform, Libertarian candidates running in Mississippi
JACKSON – Perennial candidate Shawn O’Hara of Hattiesburg, who once proposed supplementing the state budget with a series of government-run snow-cone stands, is back on the ballot in Mississippi this year.
New documents show he’s running for governor under the Reform Party label…
…The Reform Party is running candidates for seven of the eight statewide offices — everything except attorney general. It also has two candidates for public service commissioner and one for transportation commissioner, which are regional offices.
The Libertarian Party has one statewide candidate, Ron Williams of Pascagoula, who’s running for lieutenant governor. Williams ran as a Republican for governor in 2011 and as a Libertarian for Congress in 2012…
