Bryant: MS will move forward to appeal abortion clinic decision
SOUTH MISSISSIPPI (WLOX) –
The State of Mississippi will move forward with an appeal of a federal court decision regarding the state’s only abortion clinic, according to Gov. Phil Bryant. Earlier this week, the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled a state law that would have closed the Jackson Women’s Health Organization unconstitutional.
At the Neshoba County Fair on Thursday, Bryant said he is working with Attorney General Jim Hood to get that decision overturned.
