Palazzo Says “Deal” was No Solution

Congressman Steven Palazzo speaks out about voting “no” on the Senate’s fiscal cliff deal. He along with Republican Representatives from Mississippi, Gregg Harper and Alan Nunnelee didn’t vote for the deal. Palazzo says this “deal” was not a solution to America’s fiscal cliff.

“As information coming and people pull back the layers on what they voted on, they realized there’s not a lot to be jumping up and down for,” says Mississippi’s fourth congressional district represenatative Steven Palazzo. He says the mood in Washington D.C. is solemn just two days after the House voted on the fiscal cliff deal. Palazzo says it wasn’t a deal at all.

“It created $620 Billion in new taxes on the backs of our small business owners… we just punched them in the mouth.”
