Social media has made it easier and more effective to communicate with broad networks with relative ease however, the silence is deafening. A statement on the Party website is that “The Mississippi Democratic Party stays in constant contact with our supporters through several mediums, including regular email updates. We also work hard to inform the press about all of our activities and stances on important issues” There are no emails or press releases linked to this. Even though their candidate won the Presidency, it is almost as if the Mississippi Democratic Party has gone into hiding.
