Lt. Gov. Reeves tours Petal’s 3D School

Lt. Gov. Tate Reeves visted Petal’s Dynamic Dyslexia Design, or 3D school Tuesday to see firsthand how children with dyslexia will benefit from a new state law which went into effect this month.

That law provides state money for elementary school students to attend a public school where dyslexia therapy is available or to enroll in accredited non-public, special purpose schools, like the 3D School.
Reeves toured several classrooms and spoke to students, teachers, parents and administrators.

“In this environment, where they focus on various things, what you see is improved reading, which allows (students) to get back to their regular school,” said Reeves.
