‘Gang of Six’ plan could pass Senate easily
(Reuters) – A bipartisan budget plan unveiled on Tuesday could pass the U.S. Senate with a healthy majority of 60 or 70 votes, Republican Senator Roger Wicker said on Tuesday.
Wicker said the plan could “get 60 or 70 votes, which I think is highly possible based on the meeting this morning” during which the plan was introduced.
