The governor responded to McCoy in a letter Wednesday that said in part:

“When I received your letter regarding the blog posting you saw, I was flabbergasted. I did not manage Judge Jones’ confirmation process or any other judicial confirmation process during my time in the White House…

Frankly, I’m surprised some blogger would impugn the integrity of our federal courts and a senior judge based on zero facts. But then again, I don’t accept at face value everything I read in a blog.”
