Will Notre Dame do right thing?

We don’t know what type of scissor lift Declan Sullivan was atop at Notre Dame football practice last Wednesday, when the lift blew over and he died. We do know the wind was gusting to 51 mph. We’ve watched the last several days as various coaches and suits have responded to the tragedy, within the Notre Dame community and without. We’ve heard lots of talk. One question hasn’t been answered. It’s the only question that matters:

What is the right thing to do, and will Notre Dame do it?
