Scarbinsky: What will McElroy do without Tebow to kick around?
McElroy tends to take that kind of thing personally, but that’s a good thing for Alabama. The Crimson Tide quarterback usually plays better with a chip on his shoulder. Or with the game on the line.
Now that he’s gotten the bet ter of former Heisman Trophy candidate Ryan Mallett again, despite turning in something less than his best performance, McElroy may need some help finding a little extra motivation this week.
Florida’s still a big game and everything, but look at it from his standpoint.
He doesn’t have Tim Tebow to kick around anymore.
