Horrendous 1-2 start has Rebels searching for winning solution
Given the events of the preceding 72 hours, it was a legitimate question. Ole Miss returned to practice and meetings Sunday afternoon following a 28-14 loss to Vanderbilt, its fourth in six years to the perennial Southeastern Conference doormat, that sent the Rebels to 1-2.
Many thought Ole Miss could win its first five games.
Now it’s just wanting to win a game. The next opportunity comes Saturday, when a 2-0 Fresno State team visits Vaught-Hemingway Stadium to take on a bunch of Rebels searching for answers – but one that players say isn’t pointing fingers.
