Barbour says he’s “considered” presidential run
Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour says he’s considered running for president, but he “won’t think about it again until after 2010.”
Barbour’s comments came Wednesday after a speech to Boys State, an annual gathering of high school students for an American Legion-sponsored leadership program.
1 of the students asked Barbour if he had considered running for president.
Last week, Barbour dismissed speculation about a possible bid for his party’s presidential nomination in 2012. He reiterated on Wednesday that Republicans should focus on races this year and in 2010.
