John Horhn campaigns on leadership, experience
At a campaign event in south Jackson earlier this month, Sen. John Horhn listened intently as small-business owner Joe Rooks talked about problems in the city.
“We need a mayor who is not arrogant, who has a little humility and doesn’t mind going and asking for help,” he said.
“And knows how to ask,” said Horhn, a state senator since 1993.
That’s the Horhn hard sell – experience, relationships and results. Horhn hopes years of going to the state Capitol on Jackson’s behalf will separate him from the field of 10 Democratic opponents in the May 5 primary.
