Former Jackson crematory operator Mark Seepe is a wanted man following a missed court appearance Monday in Hinds County.
“He failed to show, and the judge issued a bench warrant for Mr. Seepe’s arrest,” Attorney General Jim Hood said in a statement released Tuesday. “Law enforcement will be looking for Mr. Seepe and will place him under arrest when found.”
Seepe is accused of six counts of criminal conversion, a charge similar to embezzlement, involving the alleged mishandling of customers’ pre-need accounts. Seepe faces two additional counts in Rankin County.
