Ole Miss wins 8th straight, 7-0 over UNO
OXFORD — Brett Bukvich and two relievers combined on a three-hitter tonight, leading Ole Miss to its eighth consecutive victory, a 7-0 non-conference decision over New Orleans at Oxford-University Stadium.
Bukvich (4-1) struck out seven, walked two and allowed three hits for Ole Miss (24-8). Kyle Barbeck and Wade Broyles each pitched a hiting inning of relief.
David Phillips drove in two runs, Logan Power had a pair of hits and Kevin Mort scored twice to spark the Rebels offensively.
