U.S. District Judge Dan Jordan called the jury back to the main court room at 2 p.m. today after learning that the jury was at an impasse in the federal trial of Jackson Mayor Frank Melton and former bodyguard Michael Recio.
“I’ve been informed that you do not believe an unanimous verdict can be reached in this case” he said.
