The state auditor’s office has found no wrong-doing in its investigation into Mississippi State University’s Coastal Research and Extension Center.
A complaint was filed with the office in October 2007, and an investigation was opened that month to look into allegations made, according to a news release from the auditor’s office.
State Auditor Stacey Pickering said the investigation has cleared all employees accused and the university.
“As of today, Monday, December 29, 2008, the case involving Mississippi State Coastal Research and Extension Center has been closed and no illegal activity was found,” Pickering said.
