Quarterback tales from around the SEC

Auburn

Neither junior-college transfer Chris Todd nor sophomore Kodi Burns has shown the complete package required to run new offensive coordinator Tony Franklin’s spread-option offense.
Todd, supposedly the better passer, doesn’t have the wheels for the running aspect. Burns is plenty athletic, but he’s still trying to figure out the passing reads.

Auburn is 10th in the SEC in scoring offense (19.8 points per game, 97th nationally) and total offense (329.4 yards, 90th), but Tigers coach Tommy Tuberville remains committed to the offensive philosophy change.
