Rebels must be on toes to beat Gators

OXFORD, Miss. — Florida, Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt said this week, does not need any help. The Gators have one of the fastest defenses in the country. They have wide receivers. They have pedigree. They have “that Heisman Trophy guy,” Nutt said, referring to junior quarterback Tim Tebow.

In other words, there are countless reasons why the Rebels (2-2, 0-1 Southeastern Conference), when they visit the fourth-ranked Gators (3-0, 1-0) this afternoon, need to play near-perfect football to recover from the hangover that has lingered since last weekend’s dispiriting loss to Vanderbilt.

“Let’s do the little things right,” Nutt said. “Let’s take care of the ball. Can’t have that many turnovers, it’s that simple.”
