REBELS:Ole Miss leaves N.C. in good health

OXFORD – Ole Miss suffered no injuries that will mean loss of playing time in its 30-28 loss at No. 20 Wake Forest Saturday.

There was 100 percent attendance at Sunday’s practice from the players expected to be there, Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt said.
That included freshman running back Brandon Bolden, who sustained a hard hit to his shoulder while returning a kick on the last play of the first half.
“He got hit real good. He was welcomed to college football,” Nutt said. “He was sore, but he came back good yesterday.”
Bolden did play in the second half, but missed a couple of series, and the Rebels were less effective running the ball when he wasn’t in there.
Defensive tackle Peria Jerry also practiced. Jerry was part of a frequent rotation of defensive linemen, as he saw his first game action since having arthroscopic knee surgery on Aug. 18.
