Saints running back Deuce McAllister and his teammates will host The 2008 Celebrity Waiter Dinner fundraiser Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at the New Orleans Marriott at the Convention Center, 859 Convention Center Boulevard in New Orleans with cocktails at 6 pm and a four course dinner from 7 to 9 pm.
Deuce and several players from the Saints will compete to see who can raise the most tips through serving the guests while demonstrating their musical talents or lack thereof and signing autographs. The proceeds raised from the evening event will stay in New Orleans to impact the youth of the area.
In 2007, guests had the opportunity to visit with approximately twenty New Orleans Saints players including Mike McKenzie, Scott Fujita, Drew Brees, Charles Grant, Mike Karney, Brian Young, and Kevin Houser. Deuce expects to have an equal level of support from his teammates for this year’s dinner.
