College Football: Who will be the Top Impact Freshman?

If the 2008 football season could be anything like this past college basketball season when it comes to freshmen making huge impacts, we are all in for a treat.
Football is a tough sport for a rookie to make a difference for his team. Some positions are easier to make the transition than others.
Here’s a list of the top 10 freshmen who could make big impacts with their teams this year. Not only does this list take talent into account, but also teams’ depth charts.

10. Enrique Davis, RB, Ole Miss
Enrique is a stud running back who is originally from Florida and signed with Auburn out of high school. He went to Hargrave Academy for a year. When the Tigers switched to the spread offense, Davis decided to go somewhere else. He landed with Houston Nutt and Ole Miss, and he is sure to make an immediate impact with the Rebels.

9. A.J. Green, WR, Georgia
A.J. Green was one of the top receivers in the nation and has great size as well. With the Bulldogs losing Sean Bailey, the Bulldogs are looking for big time playmakers to go along with Massaquoi at wideout. Green has a chance to be a difference maker on a championship contender.
