Bayou Buzz – New Orleans Saints

Saints coach Sean Payton likes the way the upcoming season is shaping up, it can’t come quick enough and he’s looking forward to it.
Last season was only the second time since the NFC South was formed in 2002 that a team from the division did not reach the NFC championship game. Tampa Bay won the division with a 9-7 record, but was knocked out of the playoffs by the eventual Super Bowl winner New York Giants.

This offseason each team — Carolina, Saints, Tampa Bay and Atlanta — has undergone major overhauls. The Saints have added some bite to their defense.
The Saints will conduct a free, open-to-the public minicamp practice on Saturday at 10:15 a.m. The workout will feature the team’s new roster and is the first opportunity for the Who Dats to get a look at the team for this season.
