Deuce McAlister Expects New Orleans Saints To Add RB Depth
Deuce McAlister was asked yesterday about the team bringing in veteran running back Shaun Alexander.

“I anticipate they’ll continue to look at veteran running backs,” McAllister said. “They have to have some protection just in case there are any setbacks with my rehab, even though there haven’t been any. It never hurts to have a Plan B.”

McAlister is attempting to come back from knee surgery from last September.

Many thought the Saints signing Alexander would spell the end of McAlister’s time in New Orleans. But with his recent admission that the team does need to add depth at RB it appears McAlister knows something we don’t.
