Six of the eight candidates in the 1st Congressional District primaries say that if elected, they would put the economy among their top three priorities.
Two other issues – education and health care – were listed three times each in the priority lists, and illegal immigration was mentioned twice. Otherwise, the priorities reflected individual areas of emphasis.
