Mississippians will be treated to the second debate of the 2007 gubernatorial election tonight, but it’s to be hoped the candidates actually discuss real issues this time.
The first meeting, Sept. 20 in Biloxi, between Republican Gov. Haley Barbour and Democratic challenger John Arthur Eaves Jr. sparked more debate about the debate as there was debate in the debate.
