Two hurricane-recovery projects in Biloxi will receive more than $3.5 million in federal money, Sens. Trent Lott and Thad Cochran announced today.
More than $2.3 million will help repair the Back Bay fishing bridge at the north end of Caillavet Street, said Vincent Creel, city spokesman. The grant will be used to replace the demolished structure with one that meets current code specifications, including 68 deck sections with guardrails on each side.
