ROSS – Letter from Campaign Manager

By: Magnolia Tribune - August 6, 2007

The polls will be opening soon, and all the work that has been put in during this campaign will be put to the test. We at the Charlie Ross campaign appreciate all of you who have put so much effort into this campaign, and I want to let you know how we are doing throughout the state.

Across the state this weekend, we knocked on tens of thousands of doors. In Desoto County alone, we visited nearly ten thousand households, and hundreds of yard signs went up in every corner of the county. In fact, we had to bring an extra shipment of signs just to meet the demand! This can only mean one thing — voters are responding to our conservative vision!

Charlie and Sharon have worked tirelessly to get their conservative message out to the voters of Mississippi. I believe their message has made it to the voters, and consequently, we have consistently gained momentum while our opponent has lost his.

Tuesday night after the polls close, we will be proud to know that Charlie Ross is the Republican nominee for Lt. Governor. I want to invite all of you to attend our victory party at Corky’s Restaurant, which is located at the intersection of Lakeland Drive and Airport Road in Flowood. Festivities will kick off at 7:00 p.m. and will go on until the last vote is counted.

Keep the momentum going out there, and we all look forward to seeing you as we celebrate our victory on Tuesday night!

Sincerely,

Nathan Wells

Campaign Manager
