Veteran powerhouse legislator Jack Gordon is being challenged for his District 8 state Senate seat by retiree John William “Bill” West, who says he wants to shake things up in Jackson.
Gordon, 62, says he believes the reason he should be re-elected is simple – “I have been here. My people have a lot of seniority invested in my seat. I am running to protect that seniority.”
