Which brings us to Phil Bryant, the state auditor, and Charlie Ross, the state senator, who are running for the Republican nomination for lieutenant governor.

Their race has devolved into a contest not so much of which one can do the best, but which one has been better at kissing the governor’s rump the past four years.

I bet you they get heartburn every morning when they wake up and realize what they think they have to do to win, which is suck up to Haley and be mean to each other.
