State budget: Stable spending to be preferred

By: Magnolia Tribune - June 19, 2007

The Clarion-Ledger Editorial, 6/19/7

That Mississippi is reporting receiving $10 million more in revenue than projected for the fiscal year ending June 30 is certainly good news.

The question for some lawmakers will be whether to spend the surplus now, or budget it for next year.
