Attorney General Jim Hood said Thursday he is preparing to take Jerry Wilburn Oil of Tupelo to court to collect money allegedly gouged from consumers after Hurricane Katrina.
During news conferences Thursday in Jackson and Tupelo, the attorney general announced that five Mississippi oil companies have agreed to settle instead of going to court.
