22 governors ask for study on gas prices

Though 22 other governors in the United States signed a letter sent to congressional leaders concerning the rising cost of fuel, Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour was not on the list.

In the bi-partisan request to Senate and House majority and minority leaders, the governors asked to “initiate a bi-partisan inquiry into escalating gas prices in the United States.”
