So far in 2007, an average of eight people have died in fires every month, with most in rural areas – a fact Mississippi voters should point out to state lawmakers who failed to pass a bill to provide a burn trauma center this year.
Firefighters and burn victims deserve better and voters should let Barbour and incumbent lawmakers know it this election year.
