Ex-bodyguards to see raises totaling $42K
The Clarion-Ledger, 10/9/7 A former bodyguard of Jackson Mayor Frank Melton’s will receive an annual salary increase of more than $30,000 to become an assistant chief of police. Former Governor Mabus remarries
The Clarion-Ledger, 10/9/7 Former Mississippi Gov. Ray Mabus on Saturday married Lynne Horecky, a nurse he has dated the past three years. It was a relationship that almost never happened. Mabus, a Democrat, was governor from January 1988 to January 1992. He was the U.S. ambassador to Saudi Arabia from 1994 to 1996.
