OXFORD — For the first time in a long time, there was some space for the Ole Miss running backs to operate during Thursday’s practice.
The Rebels are breaking in three new starters along the interior of the offensive line, including left guard Alex Washington, center A.J. Hawkins and right guard Rishaw Johnson.
Those guys have routinely been pushed around by UM’s veteran defensive line, which features three senior starters.
