Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino’s offensive wizardry plays out like a maze in Ryan Mallett’s head.
Mallett, a Sporting News preseason All-American, has seen infinite playbook possibilities in two years under Petrino.
“We can get to the same routes 10, 15 different ways,” Petrino said. “It’s still the same thing to the quarterback, but it’s getting different guys open. Some teams might have two or three ways to get to one play. We can go 10 or 15.”
