State Senator Chris McDaniel hosted a town hall discussion via Facebook Live Thursday night–during the time frame of what would have been the debate at Millsaps that was canceled.
“Millsaps and Mississippi Public Broadcasting had determined that we would hold a debate,” said McDaniel in the video. “But the individuals who were supposed to debate, for whatever reason; I think I know the reason, decided not to debate.”
The previously scheduled event was canceled when democratic senate candidate Mike Espy pulled out of the debate since US Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith would not be attending.
In the hour-long session, McDaniel touched on Kavanaugh, allegations from his opposers, education and more.
