Receiver Clark ineligible for ’09
STARKVILLE — Sophomore wide receiver Arceto Clark won’t be academically eligible to play for Mississippi State this fall, coach Dan Mullen confirmed Friday.
Clark, who was arrested and charged with petty larceny in March, is enrolled in school and working out with the team, Mullen said.
Clark, of Shannon, didn’t play until the eighth game of his true freshman season and finished 2008 with three carries and three receptions. He’ll be able to count 2009 as a redshirt year.
